The One Shot in a Pandemic (Because Why Not).
Despite the promise of major savings on energy bills, people still weren’t signing up to Look After My Bills. The sticking point? Perception. Lots of people thought switching suppliers would be complicated, time-consuming or – judging by reactions – mildly terrifying.
So we set out to make it feel simple, safe and totally not scary.
Working with my creative partner, we developed the concept, 4 ideas, scripts, casting and locations, and directed the shoot and edits. I also handled all the art direction, wardrobe and set design – the visual glue that holds it all together. And because we love a challenge, we filmed the whole thing in two days under full COVID restrictions. Nothing like directing through a mask and a two-metre gap to keep you on your toes.
The entire project went from concept to delivery in a month, on a tiny budget and still came out warm, charming and genuinely reassuring.
